AI and viral carrier ads: A word of warning

Does it look too easy? Then perhaps it’s AI.

Is it in the sale with only 24 hours left on an amazing deal? Then perhaps it’s not safety tested.

Does it show a baby less than 4 months old in a hip carrier or facing outwards? Then safety is not something they care about.

Don’t be taken in by these videos that seem to be doing the rounds.

Instagram video highlighting red flags in an AI video and their website

So many red flags and pressurised sales tactics should always be your sign to step back and stop.

This has all the markings of a scam.

The video and photos show a hoodie that the website claims is a safe baby carrier from newborn until 12 months. With no information on how it works, or safety testing information. And photos showing a young baby that’s very clearly under 4 months old being worn facing outwards. If it’s not AI… then it’s dangerous and promoting unsafe babywearing. And if it is AI…. What happens to your money?
