Back carrying workshop
A group workshop to introduce back carrying and key safety checks.
Service Description
Within the hour workshop I will show you how to use the hip scoot method to get set up for a back carry. We will also discuss some troubleshooting and different methods you can use. During the workshop you can use one of our carriers or your own. We will also have demo dolls available that you will be able to use for a practice run through before trying it out with your own baby. We will be focusing on using buckle carriers for this workshop. This workshop is for anyone who has used a carrier for a front carry in the past but would now like to look at back carrying. To attempt a back carry in a buckle carrier with your baby they need to be sitting independently. If they are not yet sitting independently you are still welcome to join and practice with the dolls so that you are ready to try it at home once they have the needed core strength.

Cancellation Policy
Babywearing consultations and workshops are run by a slingababy trained babywearing consultant. The consultation/workshop fee is taken at the time of booking. This is a non-refundable fee but it is transferable to other dates or types of consultation/workshop at the discretion of Snugglebugs Dorset. We understand that little ones can be unpredictable but please try to give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel/reschedule. If less than 24 hours notice is given, then the appointment will not be eligible for a refund, but can be rescheduled for the full booking fee. When 24 hours notice is given we will aim to reschedule your appointment to an alternative available slot. An additional admin fee of 10% of the consultation/workshop fee will be charged to reschedule this. In the event of a total cancellation the following will apply: More than 48 hours notice given: A full refund will be issued. Less than 48 hours notice given: 50% refund will be issued. Less than 24 hours notice given: no refund will be issued. Please contact us directly if you wish to discuss this further. In the instance that your appointment needs to be cancelled by Snugglebugs Dorset for any reason and no suitable rescheduled date can be agreed, we will refund the full cost to the customer. All appointments are a fixed timeslot. Please try to be prompt on arrival and appreciate that we may not be able to extend any lateness past the scheduled end time of the appointment. Where possible, we will try to run for the full booked appointment time. Consultations are for one family at a time. If you would like to come with a friend/friends, contact us in advance.
